Abstract:

River maintenance activities within the boundaries of the Santo Domingo Pueblo on the Rio Grande have departed from the traditional channelization philosophy and employed engineering methodologies that provide for long-term river management while protecting the inherent environmental values, adjacent lands, and project features associated with the Rio Grande and its floodway in New Mexico.
