Abstract:

A graphical database composed of programmable objects analogous to elements of a physical plant of a transportation network is presented. The discussion reviews the application of a graphical database to the mass transit system in southeastern Pennsylvania. This paper includes outlines on hardware requirements and costs to implement the database system. The suitability and adaptability of alternate schemes are reviewed.
