Abstract:

A seismic hazards data base has been developed as a research tool for the engineering and seismology communities. The data base presently holds five categories of data, the largest of which is ground motions. In order to facilitate easy access of data from the data base, we have developed two menu-driven data base interface tools. These tools access the data in different manners based on the user's need and are designed for quick and easy usage. The purpose of this presentation is to actively demonstrate the use of these tools in retrieving data from the current data base.
