Abstract:

This paper contains the author's comments on the use of the Engineers Joint Contract Documents Committee (EJCDC) documents with emphasis on Engineer-Owner Agreements and on construction-related documents. Changes and additions to EJCDC standard language including liability, payment and resident project representative duties are included as were found desirable for the author's firm's services. Also discussed are the dangers of Purchase Orders.
