Abstract:

This paper addresses the topic of data base management systems and their use by small and medium-sized construction companies. Specifically, the use of personal computer based software to manage project information is addressed. Project information is identified as written information between the parties involved in the construction process. This review addresses three phases involved in the creation of a construction site information system: selection, implementation, and support.
