Abstract:

As storm water management in urban area with increasing amount of runoff, flood-control reservoir with the bed having large permeability to enrich the groundwater is considered. A dynamical model of water in the reservoir with the precipitation of suspended soil particles is presented. The infiltration characteristics are discussed through the mathematical simulation as regard to the water surface degradation. Laboratory experiments are conducted to cultivate the model.
