Abstract:

The department of Industrial Engineering and Computer Science at the University of New Haven (UNH) is currently developing the manufacturing systems option in its Industrial Engineering Program. The establishment of this option has made possible the development of new courses at the undergraduate level. Recently, two undergraduate courses, Computer-Aided Manufacturing and Robotics in Manufacturing, have been added to the list of courses being offered in manufacturing systems. This paper outlines the newly developed courses and the future developments of manufacturing systems at the University of New Haven.
