Abstract:

The University Programs in Computer-Aided Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing (UPCAEDM) annual conferences provide for the presentation and exchange of ideas related to current developments in the use of computers in multi-disciplinary engineering education and research environments. Organized around the theme Networking in Engineering Colleges, the present conference deals with new trends in computer-aided engineering applications of computer-aided design, manufacturing automation, and networking. UPCAEDM provides a forum for leaders from education, industry, and government to focus on issues related to the automation of engineering practice.
