Abstract:

A minimum cost optimization procedure is presented for the analysis of multi-degree freedom structures subjected to steady, transient and random vibration environment. The procedure is illustrated by results from two models of semi-conductor industrial buildings consisting of mechanical and process floors. This work can be very useful in the vibration control design of industrial buildings.
