Abstract:

A review of the application of latticed structures is presented. The design and construction of space frames is dependent upon the availability of adequate connection systems to realize the aesthetic and functional goals of a building. Requirements of span, economy, aesthetics and/or geometry flexibility have to be comprised when a single joint is used to attempt to solve all space framing applications. Unistrut offers a number of connecting systems in order to be able to provide the architect or engineer with the right combination of properties.
