Abstract:

Most electric utilities use a large variety of different types and designs of transmission structures. Because of this, it is not practical or economically justifiable for these utilities to inventory a large quantity of each of these structures for emergency situations. This paper outlines the modular structural components currently used by many utilities to restore a damage transmission line.
