Abstract:

This paper presents the residential street design guide. The purpose in presenting residential street design considerations is to call attention to a broad range of factors which should be considered in the selection of alignments, configurations and construction details. The considerations are a mixture of criteria, specification standards, and performance experience, hearing upon practical urban and suburban residential street design concerns. The paper given some selected examples of design elements in residential street design.
