Abstract:

A plausible scenario to 21st Century technology transfer for local road and street managers is presented. The future needs of local managers and their level of expertise is addressed within the framework of viewed improvements in networking and delivery systems. These enhancements will complement existing training techniques such as workshops, seminars, and short courses which will continue to play a major role in the 21st Century for local road and street managers.
