Abstract:

This resource paper was presented specifically as a focus of discussion for probe group II, Information Needs for Policy, Planning and Design. The paper represents the freight planning program for metropolitan planning agency and features tables on several recent data put out by Chicago Area Transportation Study. As a general resource the paper includes several tables on data availability for each mode of urban goods movement.
