Abstract:
The Jackson Hydroelectric Project generates power, supplies municipal water, provides flood control, maintains anadromous fishery minimum instream flows and studies various reservoir rule curve configurations for optimizing project operation. In addition to project energy, data were generated for fishery agency interests in river flows during spawning and fishing seasons, and reservoir level fluctuation effects on resident trout. An owner preferred and recommended operating plan has been approved by the Corps of Engineers and is under review by the fishery agencies.
