Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Materials and Member Behavior

Abstract:

Structural response records may be analyzed to estimate relative motions of civil engineering structures. Several methods are available for the estimation of cumulative damage on the basis of relative motions of a given structure. These methods are reviewed. Several types of uncertainties are discussed along with suggestions for further improvements.
