Stability and Limit Loads of Steel Space Trusses

An investigation of the behavior of cold-formed steel space truss structures, under the interaction of local, member, and overall buckling is described. A Finite Element computer program based on both bifurcation and incremental solution schemes has been developed. Interesting results have been obtained to shed light on the effects of local buckling as well as member buckling on the global buckling strength of the space truss structure.
