Abstract:

The Soil Cover Complex Method which was developed by the Soil Conservation Service is a commonly accepted method of evaluating site hydrology. The solution of this method is facilitated by the use of electronic spreadsheets. Closely related is the design of detention basins, a process which can also be facilitated by the use of electronic spreadsheets. With this in mind, several spreadsheet templates have been developed to assist in these procedures. The paper is a brief description of these procedures and the electronic spreadsheet templates which have been developed.
