Abstract:
A hydraulic computer model of a water distribution system that can be updated with current billing (customer meter readings) information automatically. The model was calibrated with field measured data from head loss and flow of pipelines, that were performed specifically for this model development. This model will be used to assist in all new pipeline designs, quantify the effect of major pipeline failures, help identify needed improvements, verify projected demands in specific areas, and update the system's schedule of CIP projects annually.
