Abstract:

The rehabilitation of Pompton Lake Dam and the dams of the Wanaque Reservoir System has provided the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission with a safe, dependable source of water supply, conforming to current safety criteria. The project spanned four years and included field investigations; hydrologic and hydraulic analyses; assessment of alternatives; and design and construction of project modifications.
