Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Hydraulic Engineering

Abstract:

Laboratory experiments are described which were performed on small-scale models of smooth circular culverts of length-to-diameter ratio varying between 13 and 52, and longitudinal downward slopes ranging from horizontal to 2. 50 percent. Results are presented on headwater requirements for culverts with a sharp-edged entrance and an unsubmerged outlet.
