Abstract:

The deep draft harbor at Barbers Point, Oahu, Hawaii is located on the south side of the island. The 92 acre harbor basin is a product of over 25 years of planning and engineering. The Monitoring of Completed Coastal Project Program was initiated to determine how well the prototype is functioning compared to results obtained using a physical model. For the monitoring of this project, a series of wave gages were installed at crucial points. The final performance results of this program analysis is expected in 1989.
