Abstract:

SUBDIVIDER is an IBM-PC program which aids engineers in the process of dividing tracts of land into lots, streets, and building floor plans. It can be used for the design of traditional lot and street subdivisions as well as for the design of planned unit developments. One can use SUBDIVIDER to design subdivisions, modify subdivisions, check subdivisions, or prepare subdivision data for drafting and layout. The uniqueness of SUBDIVIDER resides in its: interface with the user, flexibility in creating and manipulating designs, and ability to optimize subdivision designs.
