This paper presents the results of two ambient vibration tests conducted on the Foothill Communities Law and Justice Center Building. One ambient test was performed in 1985. The second was conducted in 1986 after the first set of earthquake response records were obtained in the building in 1985. Also referred to is a NSF-funded project at UCLA to define a periodic ambient vibration testing program for use in evaluating future earthquake response records obtained in this building.
