Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Hydraulics and Hydrology in the Small Computer Age

Abstract:

The Soil Conservation Service User-Defined Storm Hydrograph (SCS-USH) has been developed to provide engineers and regulatory officials with a simple microcomputer tool for defining design storm hydrographs from standard rainfall distributions, and for simulating actual storm hydrographs from precipitation gage records. The storm hydrograph is based on the SCS triangular unit hydrograph method. The user specifies program parameter inputs. Users have several options for resulting hydrograph output to screen, printer, or diskette text file.
