Abstract:

The State of Alaska recently implemented regulatory reform procedures to streamline the permitting process and ease the regulatory burden on the regulated community, as well as the burden on the regulators. The State created the Division of Governmental Coordination within the Office of Management and Budget to coordinate the vast majority of the permitting activities for oil and gas.
