Abstract:

The future of the nation demands a solution to critical infrastructure problem. The public works facilities must be maintained, restored, and added to. The condition of these facilities has been too long overlooked. There is a lack of much essential information on the infrastructure, including the costs of failure to act. Changes of public policy and greater availability of funding are needed at all levels of government.
