Abstract:
Combined field and laboratory studies were used to relate water quality, geometry, and exchange characteristics in reservoir swim embayments. Water surface fluctuations in reservoirs are usually inadequate to create the desired exchange. Therefore, exchange must be achieved by using reservoir flow-by velocity to produce circulation in the embayment.
