Abstract:

The primary goal of these proceedings is to provide an awareness of the many areas of resource development in which hydraulic engineering plays a key role. The papers cover a variety of topics including: Hydropower development (both large and small); hydraulics in cold regions; municipal and industrial water supply development, use, and conservation; water and river system management; instream flow impacts; hydrology in resource development; sediment transport, deposition, and erosion; hydrologic transport and dispersion models; numerical flow modeling; and physical hydraulic modeling.
