The Individual Attitude: Its Impact on Financial Success

by W. F. Peck, Technical Management Consultants, Inc, Atlanta, GA, USA,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Managing Finances

Abstract:

Individual engineers often have personalities and interests substantially different from those traits that support the financial success of a project. An engineer's inherent attitudes need to be understood and then developed or modified if the financial results of his projects are to be improved. Role playing is the art of disciplining oneself to do what should be done rather than what may be natural or comfortable.
