Abstract:

This paper presents a theoretical solution for determining the stability region of multi-story buildings equipped with one active tendon controller on a certain floor. In this theoretical solution, two types of time-delay, location of active controller and weighting matrix configuration are included as influence parameters. In the numerical examples provided, the sensitivity of these influence parameters is presented.
