Abstract:

This paper is concerned with I-beam to Box-column connections stiffened externally. Experimental and theoretical findings on full-scale connection models are highlighted. The performance of T-stiffeners was found to be better than that of the other types. A simple design procedure has been proposed for T-stiffeners.
