by Michael Buchman, Natl Oceanic and Atmospheric, Administration, Seattle, United States,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Coastal Zone '93

Abstract:

This paper presents a variety of approaches that have been used (or are proposed) to address the potential ecological risks posed by contaminant releases from Superfund mega-sites. The variety of methods are contrasted as to their strengths and limitations for characterizing cumulative exposures. Emphasis is placed on how the approaches are integrated into the normal remedial investigation and design process.
