Abstract:

The need to rehabilitate many of the existing sewer systems to keep them operational is evident. The development of a rehabilitation plan that optimizes the use of funds is the first step in this rehabilitation process. This paper presents methodology that, starting from an assessment of the structural and hydraulic conditions, and data for the different rehabilitation methods, builds an optimization model to select the segments to be rehabilitated and the methods to be used.
