Abstract:

The methods of investigation for determining pipeline rehabilitation options for design and construction are directed chiefly toward: a) cost minimization of necessary rehabilitation projects; b) control of the future rehabilitation cost as the system gets older; and c) quantifying and justifying future financial requirements for improvement of the pipeline system, whether it is rehabilitation or replacement.
