Abstract: This proceedings, Water Resources Planning and Management: Saving a Threatened Resource—In Search of Solutions, contains papers presented at the 1992 National Conference on Water Resources Planning and Management, a component of Water Forum '92, Baltimore, Maryland, August 2-5, 1992. Some of the topics covered by these papers include: global warming; forecasting water demand; modeling groundwater management; managing dredge material; using geographic information systems; restoring wetlands; rehabilitating water resources infrastructure; and controlling contaminant transport. It also presents case studies in land use and water resource planning and management, and long term water resources planning and design.
