by Michael L. Deas, Los Angeles Dep of Water & Power, (LADWP), Los Angeles, United States,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Water Resources Planning and Management: Saving a Threatened Resource—In Search of Solutions

Abstract:

Municipal organizations are often faced with a complex set of water resource problems which can best be analyzed through the use of computer models. The development of such models can be expensive as well as time and, once developed, certain resources must be dedicated to their continued maintenance or there use is soon limited.
