Abstract:

Construction is an industry whose very success is highly dependent on the people involved. It follows then that a key element in any effective inspection program is the people who make up the inspection force. The attributes of an effective inspector, and expanding and building on these attributes are discussed in this paper from the perspective of one who believes in the merits and benefits of a full time inspection program.
