Abstract:

This paper describes a data collection system developed by the New Hampshire Technology Transfer Center. The key features of this data collection method are its ease of use, single step data entry, and speed of operation. This paper demonstrates the application of this data collection system in several different situations. These applications include the collection of traffic volume information and the collection of road surface distress characteristics.
