Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Microcomputer Applications in Transportation III

Abstract:

This paper presents a rational methodology which combines several of the most significant programs in the signalized intersection and traffic signal timing design are in a comprehensive analysis procedure. Specifically, it combined the use of the Highway Capacity Software (HCS); the Arterial Analysis Package (AAP), which in turn includes the popular SOAP, PASSER II and TRANSYT-7F models as components; and several utility programs for advanced use and timing implementation. Suggestions are also offered for further research and development needs.)
