Abstract: This paper analyses the structural system reliability of cable-stayed bridge by using the modified all failure modes. The concept of the structural subsystem is used to help the selection of major failure modes and to facilitate the correlate analysis. A special structural analysis algorithm considering non-linear effect is used to calculate the loading response and a multiple integral method is utilized to estimate the Pf of each failure mode. According to the design and test data of the bridge, the structural system reliability of the first-order bounds and the second-order bounds for ultimate limit-states are obtained.
