Probabilistic Models for Loads Due to Bulk Solidsby Lam Pham, CSIRO,
Document Type: Proceeding Paper
Part of: Structural Safety and Reliability
Abstract: This paper presents two probabilistic models for loads due to bulk solids. One model seeks to obtain an accurate presentation of the loads; the model is used as a basis for a systematic treatment of available experimental data. The other model seeks to account for various components of uncertainties in the estimates of the loads; the model is used as a basis for the derivation of a load specification.
