Abstract:

Acceptance criteria for Penetrating sealers is shown. Penetrating sealers can be used as cost effective preventive maintenance for bridge deck concrete in northern climates. Factors affecting field performance of sealers is discussed. These include moisture conditions, curing age, and surface preparation techniques.
