Abstract:

Recent advances in artificial intelligence and expert systems development have attracted many scientists and researchers. Reservoir operation is an ideal field for such research due to its expert based characteristics. CAP1, a reservoir operation expert system, was developed with a view to giving the expert system novice a chance to cope with the ever growing state of the art Expert System domain. This paper briefly reports the conception and implementation of CAP1.
