Abstract: Reducing the costs of maintaining an irrigation water delivery system is becoming more important as the financial problems of the irrigators become more critical. The maintenance costs can be significantly reduced by taking one or more actions such as: rehabilitation of the project; proper selection of equipment; proper selection of methods; preventative maintenance; and training of personnel.
