Abstract:

The development of quantitative impact assessment methods over the past decade has improved our ability to identify environmental losses and recommend appropriate compensation measures related to water resource projects in coastal ecosystems. This paper summarizes the use of habitat-based evaluation models in impact assessment and mitigation analysis in Mobile Bay, Alabama.
