Abstract:

If it has been determined that there is a need for a computer, the next step is to determine the software programming needs. The two distinct options in software are 'packaged' or 'customized', Several accounting packages are available commercially that may be suitable. However, if there is something unique about your accounting system, and there is a desire to maintain that uniqueness, then customized software is needed.
