Abstract: Working together, two California agencies coordinated their water reuse efforts, facilitating the construction of a single transmission main, rather than the two that were originally planned. This coordination benefited both parties, particularly because the design and construction of the single 7.5 mi long pipeline required overcoming multiple logistical challenges—including poor soils, incomplete historical records, and the possibility of unexploded ordnance.
