Abstract:

As part of its mission to identify long-term emerging issues and trends and their impact on member firms, the Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA) assembled for its biennial Crystal Ball Workshop. The workshop, conducted by the GBA's Emerging Issues and Trends Committee, was pivotal in identifying six key issues and their associated impacts facing the profession. Taking it one step further, participants then identified four trends that must be considered now, because their impacts on the industry will be far-reaching and significant.
