Abstract:

The 40th Structures Congress's technical program consists of 10 tracks and three poster sessions. The program covers practical design in the following topic areas including Buildings, Bridges, Special Structures, Existing Structures, Multi-discipline and Cross-discipline projects, International Structural Engineering, Business and Professional Practice, Education, and the 18th Analysis and Computation Specialty Conference. This congress has increased emphasis on the practicing engineer, explored the many changes that have occurred in design standards and codes, and featured the best that international structural engineering has to offer.
